When a waiter sends an order from a handheld or tablet, it reaches the kitchen in real time. You can choose to use a touch monitor (KDS — Kitchen Display System) or a thermal printer for the traditional paper ticket: both solutions are supported.
With the touch monitor, orders appear on screen with progressive course display: the starter course appears first, then — at the right moment — the first courses. The chef confirms each course with a tap and the front-of-house is updated automatically.
There's no more shouting between front-of-house and kitchen to find out "where are we": everything is visible on screen, in order, without ambiguity.
Kitchen
Already have a thermal printer? We'll use it. Prefer a touch monitor? We'll set it up. You can use both together for kitchen and bar.
Orders reach the kitchen by course, in the right order. The chef doesn't have to remember what has already gone out and what is still missing.
Front-of-house staff can see in real time the status of each course: ready, being prepared, waiting. Less waiting, more satisfied customers.
Kitchen management (touch monitor and thermal printer) is included in Small, Lite and Pro.
