Probably not. WebRestaurant works on any modern device with an up-to-date browser (Windows, Android, iPad). The fiscal printer is verified during configuration: we are compatible with Epson, Custom, RCH and other standard models. If you have very old hardware, we will let you know before activation.
WebRestaurant is optimised for stable local networks (venue Wi-Fi). An internet connection is required for TheFork synchronisation, cloud reports and updates. For local service (orders, kitchen, POS) the internal network is sufficient. We recommend a reliable internet connection for automatic backup and remote reports.
Full activation — system configuration, Tableau setup, menu loading, staff testing — is typically completed in 1–2 working days of onboarding. Then there are a few "run-in" days during which we are available for any questions.

Yes, the system is multi-device: you can have multiple handheld devices active simultaneously, a monitor in the kitchen and a tablet at the till, all connected to the same system.
WebRestaurant is management software and, as such, may fall within the scope of the 4.0 intangible assets tax credit still active in 2026. We recommend checking with your accountant: the regulation has specific technical requirements that depend on the purchase configuration.
